The CannaHelp Story
After a few years in Horticulture, I became interested in the potential medicinal side of plants, initially Australian plants. I broadened my interest to herbal remedies from the past and a more up-to-date spin on some of them.
It was around 2005, when I became aware that Cannabis was being researched and discussed as having positive health outcomes. In 2010, I was lucky enough to gain a position at a fledgling Hydroponic and Garden Store just north of Detroit, Michigan. The store went on to win a public vote, 3 years running, as the best hydroponic store in the Detroit area. The poll was an annual event by a popular street press with many categories, with hydroponic stores being just one.
I maintained my interests until, in 2016, I started experimenting with various formulas based around Comfrey and Hemp Oil. My research bore fruit in 2017 when I started doing market research, formulating and selling CannaHelp balms.
In 2025, I have developed and formulated 5 different balms, all based on the OG Comfrey Hemp Balm.

In early 2019 I needed to undergo a full knee replacement to my left knee. This is major surgery with a long recovery period. Post surgery I commenced using the Canna Help Comfrey Hemp Balm and applied it to my knee and leg. My specialist was very pleased with my quick recovery. It also helped me avoid prescription painkillers after the operation as the residual pain subsided quickly when I applied the balm.
I have since made a full recovery but what is even better, I returned to the Hospital in 2021 to undergo a knee replacement to my right knee. This time, my physiotherapist was impressed with my post-surgery recovery.
I realised that using the balm really assisted in my recovery, and prevented me from using strong painkillers.
I now walk around 4km a day for exercise. All I can say is honestly – this balm works! I highly recommend it. Plus, I continue to use it daily.
